Hey everyone, Happy Valentine's Day to all, I hope you each had a nice one today. Today, I decided to pack a nice lunch for my sis and I to enjoy while running some errands in Kingman. The packed lunch featured a couple of nice cutom-made sandwiches I crafted for both of us, some peeled and sliced apples with peanut butter, a couple bags of chips, two sodas I bought on the way out of Topock, and some freshly made Daifukumochi Rice cakes (Both plain and with Strawberries as part of the filling) for dessert. Later in the day, while passing some time before we did another errand, we decided to eat our packed lunch early, and I gotta tell you, My sister enjoyed  all of it (especially the Daifukumochi). All in all, it was a nice, rainy day both of us had.

Uhm, speaking of Family, I have a small bit of an announcement regarding my inevitable move to Northern California. Before you ask (if you ask that is, Sorry ^^;; ), Yes, it's still going to happen, but there's been somewhat of a.. hiccup in the departure date. you see, last week my mom and I were getting a bit nervous, since we weren't sure if I was to fly out or if My god Mother was gonna drive me out personally, and when we tried asking her about it via Facebook, we hadn't received any feedback until a few days ago when My Godmother sent mom a message one morning.

Apparently due to an unforeseen incident involving one of the friends of her mom, she had to cancel her original plans of meeting up with us in Vegas on the 18th of this month, and now plans to fly me out sometime in early march..At least that's what her text message to Mom says. Although on one hand it puts a little bit of pressure off of my shoulders and gives me some more time to finish getting everything I need packed up and ready to go, We still haven't gotten a confirmation from My godmother whether I'm being flown out or driven out north. Hopefully we can get that answered ASAP.
Sooo, yeah, looks like I still have some more time to prepare physically and mentally for the inevitable trip up north. I'm still a bit uneasy though, I REALLY hope I don't mess this opportunity up..

Uhm, Hey everyone, I hope you're all still doing well...

I'm sorry for not being active on here much for the past four years since my last entry.. It's not that I've totally vanished off of the face of the planet, but things here at home have been, well, just as crazy as I'd imagine it was for everyone else here.

Where do I even begin... well up until this week, I've still had absolutely no luck with job-hunting, but I DID accomplish one amazing feat: I finally FRICKING GOT MY DRIVER's LICENCE after heavens knows how long!
I remember on the day I FINALLY passed the cursed written exam after studying my entire hide off three days prior, I became so Happy and relieved that I accidentally spooked the ENTIRE DMV building with a sudden burst of Happy shouting and literal sobbing ((my sis told me I wound up spooking a poor teenage girl and her mom, who were waiting in line after me for the kid to take her exam though.. ^^;;; ))
A year and a half after that, My mom managed to sign me up to take some hands on Driving classes with Atlantic Driving School, which was situated right next door to a church ((Which was an amazing experience, and I HIGHLY recommend consulting this school if you happen to live within the Golden Shores, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, or Bullhead areas, and are looking to take some Hands-on-classes)). The Instructor was really kind, understanding, and extremely patient with me. after a few months or so of lessons, my instructor decided to be rather sneaky, and disguised the actual driving test itself as a regular day of driving through a route. However, I wound up figuring that something was off when instead of directing to to pull into a designated area to practice the three-point turn, she had me pull up to the front of the driving school office and park the car, and then pulled out a Grading Ru-brick, made two marks, and told me I had passed with a 94. Needless to say, I IMMEDIATELY broke down into a happy sobbing puddle upon being told that..

It's been like barely a year since getting my driver's licence, and let's just say, since August, the rest of 2018 was a bit..bumpy..
for one thing, My Grandma (from Mom's side) had a very minor stroke a day after having a successful heart valve replacement surgery in Phoenix, which left her with both her left arm and left leg in a paralyzed state, and her mind in a majorly foggy state. For a couple months, we had her placed in a temporary nursing facility in an attempt to get her restored to 85% functionality at least, but unfortunately, before we could get her to learn how to properly transfer herself from her bed to a wheelchair, she got pre-maturely discharged, and had to send her back home and have someone look after her basic needs....which Turned out to be me since everyone else has work, and I'm usually the only one stuck at home to hold down the fort..

So for a few more months, until we could get her to another facility to help her  get back on her feet again hopefully, I had to re-locate myself to my Grandma's home and care for her while everyone else was away at home during the week ((Though I STILL love Grandma dearly, her post-stroke self didn't make things.. easy for me to do when feeding her, giving her pills, making her comfortable, etc.)). Normally this wouldn't have been more stressful than it sounds, but unfortunately, prior to Grandma's heart valve surgery, her land-lady wound up selling the house she was residing in behind her back, and she had until October to move herself, her two cats, and everything she had out of her house and hopefully to another house.

So in the midst of trying to help Grandma recover from her stroke through getting her to SOME form of Physical Therapy, My mom, sis, bro, and I had to Madly scramble to get Grandma's things ((which thankfully she  completely boxed up before she left for her surgery)) moved out of the house and into a Storage Unit at least, while, according to an original plan, move Grandma herself with her two cats next door to our home until we can get her back on her feet literally, and help her get aa new home. It was a fine plan and went somewhat smoothly... until she caught a rather nasty bladder infection early in October, which resulted in her getting Hospitalized again, and me moved back to my house with Grandma's two (lovely) cats. She wound up recovering in the hospital for a few weeks, and then, by some stroke of dumb luck, got transferred to a specialized nursing Facility in Kingman, which made things a liitle bit easier for us to finish up packing and moving out her things out of the old house in time for the new owner to move in. So at this time, Grandma's still hanging in there in the facility, and while we visit her very often, she still misses us, her family terribly.

Soo, at this time, I'd imagine you're thinking 'Whooa slow down there Rozen, you don't REALLY have to explain EVERYTHING that happened in the past four years YEESSHH... Though could you please clarify what you mean by the title?' ((First of all SORRY, I felt bad for not making journal entries during thee whole time, and I felt like explaining what happened.. Again, sorry))
Well, you see,  for the past several years even before my previous entry, things with my dad has been well.. awful, to put it lightly ((And for the time being, I'm gonna leave it at that, thanks. PLEASE DO NOT PRY)) and for s couple months this/last year, My mom has been talking with my god mother ((who is also her cousin)) about possibly getting me out of the house before he makes things worse for everyone, and after talking about it for a while, It's now confirmed ((or at least confirmed Tuesday night))..

That's right,
I'll be moving out of my house here in AZ on February 18th to live with my Godmother and her husband,  back in California. This kind of news, though naturally sounds exciting, it's left me with.. mixed feelings.. On one hand, It'll get me away from my Dad's bad shenanigans, and actually help get my foot in the door for getting a job, since her husband's gonna take me under his wing as an apprentice ((he works as a chef apparently)) but on the other hand... I'm gonna miss my mom, bro, sis, and a lot of the elders I've befriended here in Topock really terribly. Heck, I'm gonna miss my Grandparents ((from Dad's side)) Just as badly as well. On another hand, though it's really nice to be offered an apprenticeship, I'm afraid of slipping up and having to come home as a faliure.

I've already told the news to some of my friends who were available at the time such as :iconleafgreen1924:, :iconvolcanicfires:, And Xane (on Twitch), and they assured me that it's a really nice thing that's offered to me and that I'm gonna have an really great time, which is almost the same assurance My mom and my siblings have given me as well..
but to any other friend of mine that's now learning of this bit of news, I'd like to say: I'm SO sorry for not keeping in touch in the past, I've been SUPER busy and overwhelmed with what's been happening at home, and I really, really hop you guys have been faring well...

Uhm, Thanks for your time, Hope you have a nice weekend.
I myself will have to start getting myself ready for the trip, such as finding warmer clothes in my room to pack and get important documents such as my Resume polished up and ready to go..

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing swell lately.
Again, I'm so sorry for being really absent as of lately, but as usual, I've been helping around the house while job hunting.

Anyways, quite a lot has been going on since my last journal entry. First of all, Early this month, I managed to preorder the new 3DS remake for Majora's Mask, which promptly arrived after they were released on February 13th, so it's been in my desk, unwrapped, until I get myself a 3DS for it ((which hopefully, should be soon)).

I also went for a job interview for the second time in my life, and though it went pretty well, I'll admit that I was a complete nervous wreck the whole time (then again, since when am I not so these days....^^; eheheheh), And I sincerely hope to any higher power out there that I havent screwed up this time around..

However, on a brighter side, I just got a really cool gift in the mail today that was sent by one of my god DA pals, :iconnintendop1:. The awesome gift he sent me waaasss ♪ :
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's mask OST. the moment I received it in the mail, I was completely surprised and touched, and I've now been enjoying the OST  very much and very thoroughly.

With that I'd like to say this (probably for the umpteenth time) : Thanks NP1, Thank you very much! I'll always treasure this for ages.

Well with that, I hope you guys have a good rest of the week. ^^

Heey guys and gals! I came back last night from the three day reunion trip, and since it was UBER late when get got back to the house, I felt a bit too bushed to post an entry sooner.
( Sorry folks! TT_TT )

The reunion went very well; Some of the people that Mom knew from her younger days of Wagon Camp showed up, and the weather at the park the reunion was set up on was absolutely perfect ( not too hot, and definitely not too cold either! XD ). There was even a small memorial service that was held for former members of Wagon Camp who had died years after the camp shut down ( One of them, was my Mother's Brother..=( ).
But all in all, I digress: The reunion was amazing, and everything went smoothly.

However, The bit of a downside to me was that we never got a chance to go to the Live Oak Canyon pumpkin patch for quality grade Jack-o'-lantern grade pumpkins.
(Oh well, maybe next time..:iconsighingplz: )

But still, it's pretty good to be back after the three day trip. :aww:
