Description

Well everyone, I've been thinking about this for ages, especially since I got inspired by the ever awesome anime called Rozen Maiden, and after some carefully-made researching ((Plus some really neat pieces of advice I've gotten from Stratolily, along with a couple of others on Flickr)), I've finally planned and mapped out the items I need for the body, wig, and eyes for my very first Bjd doll:
Souseiseki, the 4th Rozen Maiden doll.
:iconsouseisekiplz:

I chose to make Souseiseki as my first bjd for many reasons:

:bulletblue: Firstly, I'm a hardcore Rozen Maiden fan(and also a majora Legend of Zelda fan as well, but that's besides the point) at heart, and Souseiseki and Hina Ichigo top my list of absolute favorite characters in the series.
Seriously, I relate to Souseiseki in so many ways (Like for example, I'm the younger of a pair of twins in my family, and sometimes my older sis can be mischievious, or even hot-tempered  at some times)

:bulletblue: Secondly, Ever since I saw the 2005-2006 seasons, and even after the launching of the third season, I've always DREAMED of having a Rozen Maiden at home. And thus, I began planning out which character to "re-create" and which parts I need to do so.

This pic only displays what I need for the doll itself:

:bulletblack: For the heads(s)- Either the FOC "Mintie Head" (with the custom-neck feature) from Peaks woods, or the "Sally Head" From DayDream-the world of Chloe, an online bjd-shop that has doll and body sculpts that are nearly identical to that of Bluefairy.
Both of these are lovely looking heads, but I'm having a hard time choosing between the two, though the Sally head costs a bit less than the Mintie head (even withwith the custom neck feature included)

:bulletblack: The body- For my first bjd, I'm deciding on getting the "Lady" Body, also from DayDream-the world of Chloe. I've decided this for a couple of reasons :
1.) the body itself looks exactly like the doll bodies from both the first-seconds, and third seasons, which is what I've been aiming for.
(Like this for example: lh5.ggpht.com/-s8u9XkyZso4/Uhg…)
2.) To be honest, I've always like the classic single ball-jointed doll bodies, the double joints for the arms and knees for some doll bodies always throws me off for the longest time.

Along with the body, I'm also planning on purchasing some Tiny fairy ankle joint and tip-toe foot parts  from the Blue fairy Doll site, since the lady body shares the same height and similar body sculpts with the Tiny fairy bodies from Blue Fairy. The reson behind this si simple: I really can't, for the life of me, find any flat-footed doll boots that look EXACTLY like Souseiseki and Suiseiseki's boots with out me having to resort to modding them/removing a part of the boots. The only pair of boots I've found that looked like the boots from the series AND the SD version of souseiseki are floating around in Aliexpress.com, and I'm willing to go with this.

:bulletblack: For her eyes, I'm simply gonna buy a pair of emerald green eyes, and a pair of "vampire red" eyes from Safrin Acrylics, which I personally believe sells the most lovely doll eyes I've ever seen, and the price is not too bad either. Besides, if I buy a pair of each color, I could always pick one red eye and one green eye to use, and probably save the remaining eyes for when I decide to make Suiseiseki. X3

:bulletblack: For the wig, I'm simply planning on getting a  7-8 inch Natural Short cut wig (khaki brown color).

Again, this pic list only features the items I need for my doll's body, I already know where to get the fabrics/materials for making her outfit. (Though getting the patterns for the hat, vest, and blouse however, THAT'S a different story for another time TT_TT))

If anyone has some additional advice or links to either a good set of patterns for the hat, vest, and Blouse, or any advice pertaining to the doll, please let me know. I'm still keeping my options open. ^^

OOH! Before I forget, I would just like to let you know that I'm not planning on starting this RIGHT away!. I'm actually waiting to start this after I buy a Nintendo WiiU. I WAS trying to save up money for it, but my laptop's screen got damaged, so all the funds I was saving up for the gaming system had to be used to pay for repairs. Soo...Yeah, I'm going to have to wait until I get the WiiU before I can start this project. Thank you.

Bueno, supongo que podría colaborar con los patrones. Aunque no puedo prometerte resultados, puedo prometer intentarlo.

Sólo necesito que me digas que patrones te faltan y las medidas del cuerpo de tu muñeca :3
